Sam and his company are exceptional educators and Expedition planners. Every detail of the Expedition is intensely researched and methodically organized based on the goals and objectives of the teachers. Sam and I met throughout the planning process, and he ensured my vision for the students was met. He also added ideas and concepts to enhance the overall experience. His love for history and passion to see students engaged in the surrounding environment are very evident. Our Expedition contained connections for the students to be involved in the critical local traditions. From the Menin Gate to Belleau Wood, Sam made sure we engaged with history rather than learn about the events. To any teacher or student who wants to truly understand the impact of World War I on the Western Front, you need to take this Expedition. You will learn about the history of the Great War and the impact years of fighting continues to have on the present.
